The SpaceSpinoff Award shall be awarded in 2010 for the second time to honour representatives of space transfer parties which generated a space technology transfer of extraordinary success due to its economic impact, with environmental or societal benefits, etc.

The award is targeted to all individuals, companies and institutions which have been involved as a donor and/or receiver in a space technology transfer with remarkable success.

The winner will receive the Space Spin-off Award statuette together with a prize of €10.000, and will be honoured by entering together with their technology in ESA’s Space Technology Hall of Fame. 

ESA is calling for nominations from individuals, established space and non-space enterprises, start-up companies, and research and science institutions.
