Innovact is a unique event in Europe, allowing young enterprises and innovative European project owners to find relevant solutions in terms of business and development through training, partnerships, funding, technology transfer…and by offering several options, such as business appointments, coaching, workshops and a funds forum… Each year, more than 2000 participants, and 200 innovative start-ups meet in Reims benefiting from the forum’s various business opportunities.
This year, Innovact has chosen Clean technology as the main theme for its 14th forum, with a round of conferences over its different aspects and dedicated events.
In addition to meetings between European innovation entrepreneurs and actors in Reims each year, Innovact relies on partners across Europe to showcase its young enterprises, its partners, and its sponsors to key support actors for innovative start-ups in Europe.
Innovact thus contributes to building and mobilising a European support network for innovative-start-ups, to favour their creation and financing. For this, Innovact has the support of the European Commission and EBN (The European Business & Innovation Centre Network), as well as from European partners from the public and private sectors who organise events based on developing and financing innovation.

Innovact benefits as well of many events organised with its partners such as the 1st European “Carrefour des Possibles” with the FING (the New‐Generation Internet Foundation), which aims to seek out, encourage, and showcase innovation in digital services and uses. A regular date for innovators and users of information and communication technologies, the “Carrefour des Possibles” is a place to discover new ways of using ICTs, encouraging contacts, and stimulating creativity.
Innovact is also welcoming the semi‐final of the European Venture Contest 2010, along with Europe Unlimited that is a competition to find, assess, and reward European companies that have an innovation with the potential to increase Europe’s competitiveness and contribute to its growth. The European Venture Contest offers start‐ups chance to meet major support actors in order to speed up their development.

This competition rounds off the European Hopefuls of Innovation, which is aimed at students and researchers from European universities and graduate schools. In order to encourage their innovative projects, the 25 finalist candidates will be invited to come to Innovact on March 2nd and 3rd, and attend the prize‐giving ceremony led by Philippe Vanrie, CEO of EBN.
All start-ups and innovation support experts are invited to participate and share their experience at the Forum’s 14th edition, to be held in Reims on March 2nd and 3rd 2010!
