Galileo Application Days

Register now for Galileo Application Days, 3-5 March, which will feature live demonstrations of cutting-edge applications and services developed to exploit the global satellite navigation systems (GNSS), in addition to kicking off the 2010 European Satellite Navigation Competition.

The event is hosted by the European Commission and is organised by the European GNSS Supervisory Authority (GSA) and the Application Centre for Satellite Navigation in Oberpfaffenhofen (the managing organisation of the European Satellite Navigation Competition).

At Galileo Application Days:

  • Be the first to find out about new GNSS R&D funds available through the 3rd FP7 call for proposals to be launched later in 2010
  • Explore the world of innovation in the Application Village where you can:
    • Race against Formula1 drivers on a gaming console, detect urban pollution on location, get real-time pictures and videos from a flight robot, and experience first hand how new GNSS innovations will make our lives safer and more sustainable, our businesses more efficient, and much more.
    • Meet the industry in dedicated one-to-one Business 'Speed Meetings' - Register before 5 February and get a list of potential partners in advance.
    • Present your application idea in an Elevator Pitch and get direct expert feedback on technology and the market.
    • Meet the partner regions of the European Satellite Navigation Competition in the Regional Pavilion and learn how they can support the development of your GNSS application idea or find business partners through their specialized networks.
    • Get an overview on GNSS test beds across Europe, get to know ESA's Technology Transfer Programme, get access to the European Network of Living Labs, make use of the ESSP EGNOS Applications Help Desk, and more in the Exhibition Area.
