The project aims to address barriers and challenges to the development of KIS ventures in the ICT sector (software), by developing a new, integrated toolkit that will be delivered through a network of 50 business incubators, 15 ICT clusters and 5 finance organizations. Specific workshops for coaches and business support professionals will be organized with business support services, investors and cluster organizations to promote the use of the new tools.

ECOLINK+ |
ECOLINK+ intends to act as an important reference point for the whole ECO-innovation community. The project will promote eco-innovation which can play a major role in strengthening Europe’s standing as a global leader in the development of new environmental technologies.At the enterprise level, the 100 Eco-business Club will help new players enter the eco-innovation market. This project will improve the coordination of activities undertaken in ECO-IP as a whole and ensure that a suitable communication infrastructure is put in place.It will also ensure that the achievements of the platform as a whole are disseminated to a wide and dispersed audience of stakeholders across the EU.

KIS4SAT

KIS4SAT will establish an innovation support platform needed to stimulate the launch and development of potentially high growth knowledge intensive services ventures in the field of satellite downstream applications. Cross fertilization of expertise will be facilitated among 25 regional clusters in this field and the project will encourage networking and partnership between various research, finance, space industry and regional organizations. A voucher scheme will be developed and implemented in a practical manner in cooperation with 30 regional agencies.

MOBIP (“Mobile Services Innovation Platform”) will provide an integrated platform for the support of KIS enterprises in the mobile services sector, through a consortium of strong players in a public-private partnership, by developing and testing integrated and tailored support packages building. MOBIP will encourage the growth and competitiveness of knowledge intensive services companies in the mobile sector. This project will be implemented to support at least 300 European SMEs from the mobile services sector.

PLAYER
|
"PLAYER (“Play and Learn as Young European entRepreneur") aims to foster the entrepreneurial mindset of the young player/user by adopting a playful approach. It will involve players from several countries throughout Europe. The set of PLAYER Project will be an immersive entrepreneurial environment. The rules and storylines of the game will be purposefully created to promote the image of entrepreneurs and to develop the entrepreneurial skills of participants The stimulation of entrepreneurial mindsets of young people outside the educational environment will be further enhanced by organizing a European wide award. The game will be structured so as to be usable also in high schools and universities involved in the project in the form of experiential learning with a European dimension.

RESCATAME-LIFE
|
This project’s main objective is to promote the sustainable management of traffic in the city of Salamanca by using air-quality sensors, together with prediction models. The objective will be met by developing and implementing the “instrumented city" concept (a transport-related database facility used for various real-time applications). Applying this concept, the project will help to design a new Urban Traffic Management and Control (UTMC) strategy focusing on the prevention of regular periods of high pollution from urban traffic.

|
The project is supporting the EU access to Chinese research & innovation programmes. This project will establish to stimulate the access opportunities in China to the European research community (e.g. research organisations, universities, national/regional agencies and industrial organisations) so as to facilitate the participation of European organisations in the Chinese programmes. This project will encourage EU-China S&T agreements and collaborations of European researchers and research organisations in Chinese national research and innovation programmes. ChinaAccess4EU will promote the participation of research community and national research/innovation programme coordinators to help establish interests and contribute to the development of research partnerships.

EU-Jordania (EJADA):
|
The project is precisely called : Technical Assistance to the Euro-Jordanian Action for the Development of Enterprise (EJADA) - Training & Knowledge Transfer on European Incubation.
EJADA, the local corporate identity and working title of the first Industrial Modernisation Programme (IMP) to be implemented in the Southern Mediterranean Region, was established in 2000 and concluded on July 1st 2006. The overall EC budget for this programme is € 45 million. The programme is comprised of three components, Policy Support and Institutional Strengthening, Direct Support to SMEs and Financial Support to SMEs. Each of these components acts in cohesion with the others.

PANDORA
|
Risk Management (RM) is nowadays an excellent way to improve European competitiveness in the global market. The main objective of PANDORA is to provide SME managers and workforce with the knowledge, competences and skills to implement RM at the foundation of their enterprise, that is, by offering their employees an easy-to-use risk identification toolbox. PANDORA will focus in particular on European SMEs in the food/feed producing and processing industry, as this sector is very much affected by the large impact of risks regarding product liability, hygiene failure and market changes, due to a very transparent logistics and end-user market.

WB BI Training Program
|
The infoDev Project (“State-of-the-art business incubation training program for developing countries”) aims to develop a state-of-the-art business incubation training program, specifically catering to the realities of setting up and managing a business incubator in a developing country context. infoDev assists developing countries with starting new business incubators as well as strengthening existing ones. It has a global business incubation network comprised of more than 130 business incubators in 50 countries across the world. The training curriculum should consist of 11 modules.
